Fish Oils and Health

It was seen that the people with the least cardiac disease were Esquimau. The reason for this was the abundance of fish attached to food. As many studies in recent years show the positive effects of seafood, the correctness of this cause-and-effect relationship has been strengthened. Fifty years ago, Dutch scientists interviewed 850 married women and recorded how much their husbands had eaten. After 20 years of follow-up, 30 grams per day of fish eaters are found to have half of their deaths from heart harvesting, compared to no fish at all. A lot of research done since then confirmed these results. During these studies it became clear that consumption of fish especially reduces sudden deaths. Major medical institutions such as the World Health Organization, the American Heart Association, and the European Society of Cardiology, which have had many years of experience, have had the following result: Adults are twice as likely to eat fish twice a week. What do people do if they dont eat fish?Ā

What are the benefits of Omega-3 oils?Ā
Omega fatty acids are effective on substances that play an important role in heart diseases. It is known that when regular fish oil is used, blood oils are changed positively. It is known that blood fat is changed positively when using regular fish oil. It has been shown that the triglycerides fall and the good cholesterol rises slightly. There are also studies showing that omega-3 changes the structure of bad cholesterol and makes it less harmful. Another benefit of fish oil is the regulation of blood pressure. Studies have shown that capillary vessels relax and enlarge, reducing both large and small blood pressure. At the same time it slows down your heart rate slightly. The use of fish oil at high doses makes clot formation difficult. There are scientists who think that this effect also plays a role in preventing heart diseases. Taking fish meal or fish oil pills has a positive effect on blood fats, blood pressure, clot formation. This slows the progression of the vessel stiffness. There are many studies that have been done in the last 10 years that fish oil is beneficial to heart health. A number of studies have shown that those who have had a heart attack are less likely to have heart attacks and death if they are treated with fish oil. About 10 years ago, Italian cardiologists published a study of 11,000 heart attack patients. In the study, half of the patients used fish oil pills in addition to the modern heart attack treatment, while the other half did not use fish oil pills. Four years later they observed that people who used fish oil had fewer heart attacks, strokes and deaths. One of the most interesting findings was that sudden deaths were down 40 percent. It should not be forgotten that fish oil is added to the side of other heart medicines in these and similar studies. However, in a study of patients with advanced heart disease and heart failure, physicians found interesting findings. In cardiac insufficiency patients who use fish oil, it makes little benefit for their disease. On the other hand, no positive effect was observed in the cholesterol-lowering statin group. Researchers on this issue have suggested that fish oil is even more effective than cholesterol drugs in heart failure patients.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā

American Heart Association SuggestsĀ
American Heart Association recommends eating fish at least two meals a week. If this is not possible, it is recommended to use supplemental foods containing omega-3. This is because omega-3 fatty acids found in fish have protective properties against heart diseases. Earlier studies have shown that omega-3 fatty acids reduce abnormal heart rates, lower fat levels, reduce plaque buildups that block arteries, and lower blood pressure. In a recent study in the Mayo Clinic Proceedings, two of the omega-3 fatty acids (eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid) were investigated. As a result of the study, consumption of omega-3 fatty acids in food or nutrient supplements reduced the risk of developing heart disease by 16% in patients with high triglyceride or fat levels and by 14% in those with high LDL cholesterol. Given the studies of omega-3 fatty acids, consumption of at least two or three meals a week has been shown to be of considerable benefit in protecting against heart disease. For this reason, it is recommended that fish such as salmon or sardines, which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, are consumed.Ā
